Saturday, January 16

6:04 p.m.Unauthorized Use, 30 Hannum Drive

Campus Safety Officer located a Haverford College student hiding in 30 Hannum Dr. after hearing noise inside of an apartment while making dorm checks. Student left the building.

8:17 p.m. Unauthorized Use, 22 Hannum Drive

Campus Safety Officer located two Haverford College students inside of 22 Hannum Dr. after observing a pizza delivery man deliver pizza to that location. Students advised of policy and left.

8:47 p.m. Unauthorized Use, 22 Hannum Drive

A student entered 22 Hannum Dr. and activated the alarm. He was found outside of the building and identified. The student was advised of policy and left the area. 

 

Sunday, January 17

2:45 a.m. Noise Complaint, 18 Hannum Drive

A student reported loud music coming from a second floor of 18 Hannum Drive. Subjects in a second floor apartment were advised of complaint and lowered the volume.

4:05 a.m. Unauthorized Use, Barclay Hall

A student was discovered in Barclay Hall after a forced door alarm and internal motion alarm were received. The Dean on Call and Housing Director were advised. Officers were advised to have the student remain in GIAC Lobby until 1000 hours.

6:27 p.m. Property Damage, Barclay Hall

A parent got his vehicle stuck in the mud on the east side of Barclay Hall, damaging the grass. A tow truck responded at the owner’s request. 

11:59 p.m. Suspicious Activity, Comfort Hall

A student from Comfort Hall notified dispatch of someone knocking on her room door and saying, “Security.” Officers arrived at Comfort and talked to student. It is believed that the individual(s) responsible may have been attending a party which was taking place elsewhere in the building.

  

Monday, January 18

12:59 a.m. Noise Complaint, Gummere Hall

A Bryn Mawr College student requested Campus Safety on location at the Gummere Hall basement for an alcohol related illness concerning a fellow Bryn Mawr student. The student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital via ambulance. Bryn Mawr College Campus Safety was notified.

11:35 p.m. Noise Complaint, Leeds Hall

A student notified Campus Safety of loud noise coming from the hallway of Leeds 111. All students not living in Leeds were asked to leave and the music was turned down.

 

Tuesday, January 19

2:34 p.m. Suspicious Person, North Dorms

A report was received of a suspicious male in the area of North Dorms paved area. The individual was circling trashcans and acting suspiciously. Officer responded but was told by a passerby that the individual ran off campus.

4:26 p.m. Suspicious Person, Duck Pond

A faculty member reported a male flying a drone from behind the Skater Shack. Officers located the male asked for identification, which he provided. Officers advised the male to contact Campus Safety for policies on operating drones on campus. Male exited the property without incident.
