Saturday, March 28th

12:54 p.m. Theft from Building Campus Center

A student worker reports that an unidentified male attempted to use a stolen credit card to make a purchase at the bookstore. Male retrieved card and left the store. Officers were unable to locate the male on campus.

 

Sunday, March 29th

01:15 a.m. Alcohol Illness Stokes Hall

Officers responded to a report of an alcohol-related illness in the lobby of Stokes Hall. On-call nurse cleared student to remain on campus and student was escorted to residence hall by officers. Graduate Assistant notified.

01:06 p.m. Unauthorized Use of Facilities Dining Center

A report was received of a female distributing literature inside the lobby area of the Dining Center. Officers advised woman to make proper arrangements through student activities office.

02:50 p.m. Institutional Vandalism Barclay Beach

Officer observed a students’ vehicle parked on Barclay Beach and asked student to move vehicle. Student left the area at a high rate of speed, causing moderate damage to the turf.

 

Monday, March 30th

4:23 p.m. Theft from Building Drinker House

A student reported the theft of stereo equipment from the common room of Drinker House. Report was filed with Haverford Township Police.

5:13 p.m. Fire On Campus

Report of a trash can fire at the playground next to Magill Library. Fire was extinguished by a member of the Facilities staff.

5:26 p.m. Suspicious Person Campus Center

Student employee notified Campus Safety that a suspect in a previous theft at the Bookstore was in the area of the Campus Center. Officers located and detained subject, who was arrested by Haverford Township Police.

 

Tuesday, March 31st

7:58 p.m. Fire Alarm HCA

Officers responded to a fire alarm at 35 Hannum Drive. Cause of activation was burnt food. Area was ventilated and fire panel restored.

9:36 p.m. Well Being Check Residence Hall

Officers were requested to check on the well-being of a student. Officers located the student inside his dorm room and the student appeared fine. Dean-on-call was notified of results.

9:44 p.m. Fire Alarm Lloyd Hall

Officers responded to a fire alarm activation at Lloyd Hall, section 3. Cause of activation was burnt toast. Fire panel was restored to normal condition.

 

Wednesday, April 1st

11:27 p.m. Disturbance Barclay Beach

Officers responded to a report of loud noise at Barclay Beach. Officers encountered several students, who agreed to lower their voices.

 

Thursday, April 2nd

11:23 a.m. Theft Stokes Hall

Staff member reported that someone took several potted plants from the 2nd floor hall of Stokes near the IITS Office.

5:05 p.m. Suspicious Person Campus Center

A report was received of a suspicious person on the third floor of the Campus Center.  Officers found the individual sitting on a chair reading a book. The person was a campus visitor and left upon request.
