Security Summary 9/7 – 9/13

Friday, September 7^th

7:52 a.m.                                Theft from Building                         Campus Center

A report was received of a theft from the Coop in the Whitehead Campus Center. The theft occurred sometime during the overnight hours.

10:16 p.m.                              Vandalism                                         INSC

A report was received of threatening graffiti written in the second stall of the second floor all gender bathroom, in the east wing of the INSC. Officer was able to remove the graffiti. A student later reported that the graffiti had been there all summer.

Wednesday, September 12^th

3:49 p.m.                                Theft                                                   18 Hannum Drive

An officer observed a dark gray sports car enter the property via College Avenue at an unsafe speed and turned up Carter Road.  This car was followed by a second vehicle also driving at an unsafe speed. The operators of both vehicles were identified and advised.

Thursday, September 13^th

10:20 a.m.                              Theft from Building                         INSC

A Facilities employee reported the theft of two garden hoses from the lower level of the INSC. No police report filed at this time.

11:09 p.m.                              Noise Complaint                               19 Hannum Drive

A complaint of loud music was reported coming from the basement and garden area of 19 Hannum Drive.  The volume was lowered upon request.
