9:21 p.m. Eye Wash Alarm INSC
Someone pulled the eye wash station in the third floor Men’s Room of the INSC. Officer checked the men’s room and found a small amount of water on the floor. The water was cleaned up.
Saturday, April 19th
6:53 p.m. Fire Walton Road
A food warmer located near the Observatory had caught fire. A campus visitor put the fire out. Campus Safety checked the warmer to be sure the fire was out. Dining Center staff was advised not to put the cart inside the building.
Sunday, April 20th
12:49 a.m. Alcohol Illness Tritton Hall
A report was received of a student who was intoxicated and in need of medical attention in Tritton Hall. Campus Safety officers checked the student and requested a paramedic. The student was evaluated by medical personnel and transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by ambulance.
Monday, April 21st
15:00 p.m. Arrests-Controlled Substance Barclay Hall
Two students were arrested by Lower Merion Police on drug-related charges.
Tuesday, April 22nd
6:32 p.m. Vandalism Barclay Hall
The card reader at the west side door of Barclay Hall was found damaged; the cover had been broken off. It is not known who had broken it, how it was broken or when.
Wednesday, April 23rd
8:56 p.m. Animal Complaint Drinker
Student reported that an unknown animal had damaged the window frame and window sill in his dorm room at Drinker House. Students later found a squirrel in the room. Squirrel was captured and removed from the dorm by Facilities and Campus Safety.
Thursday, April 24th
12:31 a.m. Suspicious Persons Thorne School
Officers found five Villanova students hanging around near the Thorne School. Students were escorted from campus by Campus Safety without incident.
10:10 p.m. Personal Injury Leeds Hall
Officers responded to Leeds Hall for a report of a knee injury incurred during a sporting event. Injured student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by ambulance for evaluation and treatment.
