10:18 a.m. Hazardous Materials Duck Pond
A large amount of oil discovered in the Duck Pond. The oil came from a nearby property, after a heating oil accident which was never reported. The Environmental Protection Agency is investigating; cleanup underway.
10:20 a.m. Towed Vehicle Walton Road
A student’s vehicle was towed from due to parking permit revocation. The student was notified via email.
10:20 a.m. Towed Vehicle Walton Road
An unregistered vehicle with several outstanding parking violations was towed from a faculty/staff parking space on Walton Road.
9:12 p.m. Safety Hazard Tritton Hall
A student reported an odor of gas in Tritton Hall. A Campus Safety officer and a Facilities employee did detect an odor, but it was determined that it wasn’t natural gas. The area was monitored by Facilities for a couple of hours.
Thursday, January 30th
9:02 a.m. Towed Vehicle Walton Road
A student’s vehicle was towed from Walton Road. The registered owner had previously been notified that his parking privileges had been revoked.
