Friday, December 20th

4:35 p.m. Suspicious Activity Visitor’s Lot

A report was received of two full size pickup trucks parked in the Visitor’s Lot. The passengers were arguing with each other. The reporting person, a college professor, stated that when the drivers of the vehicles observed him using his cell phone to call Campus Safety, they exited the parking lot.

10:59 p.m. Animal Complaint Barclay Hall

A student at Barclay Hall reported a bat in his dorm room. Upon officers’ arrival, the bat had flown out of the room and may have gone into the attic. The building was checked with negative results.

 

Saturday, December 21st

4:24 p.m. Unauthorized Use 50 Hannum Drive

Two students were found on the first floor of 50 Hannum Drive. The Housing Office was notified. Students eventually left the building.

5:31 p.m. Unauthorized Use 31 Hannum Drive

A student was observed using his OneCard to gain access to 31 Hannum Drive. His clearance was removed. He had left his belongings in his room. The Housing Office was notified. He was given 30 minutes to move his belongings to his assigned Winter Break housing area.

8:30 p.m. Unauthorized Use 808 Ardmore Ave

A Bryn Mawr Student was found at 808 Ardmore Avenue. The Housing Office will contact Bryn Mawr College to determine what they want to do.

 

Sunday, December 22nd

3:29 p.m. Unauthorized Use Roberts Hall

Two students were found in Roberts Computer Lab after attempting to use their One Cards on the doors and being declined. The door had been forced open. They were identified by Campus Safety and instructed to leave.

 

 

Monday, December 23rd

8:26 p.m. Intrusion Alarm Drinker Hall

Received the intrusion alarm for Drinker Hall. Campus Safety checked the interior and exterior of the building. It was secure. A second alarm was later received (3:31 a.m.) and the building was rechecked. An unlocked bathroom window was found. The building was unoccupied.

 

Wednesday, December 25th

5:31 p.m. Power Failure Campus Wide

A brief campus wide power failure was experienced. Campus Safety notified the appropriate campus administrators.

 

Thursday, December 26th

2:19 p.m. Theft 812 Ardmore Ave

A commercial tenant notified Campus Safety that a large beach umbrella was stolen from a garden outside of HCA Apt. 812. A police report was filed with Haverford Township.
