4:17 p.m. Personal Injury Harris Road
A student who had fallen near Union Hall the previous night was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital with an injured wrist. The Dean on Call and Health Services was notified.
4:36 p.m. Theft from Buildings Lunt Hall
A student reported that her One Card was stolen from her coat pocket while she was attending a party at Lunt Hall last Friday night. A new One Card was issued to the student.
Friday, November 29th
4:52 p.m. Eye Wash Alarm INSC
Campus Safety received the eye wash alarm for the first floor of the INSC. A staff member called the office and stated someone had activated the eye wash station. A wet floor sign was posted.
Monday, December 2nd
9:33 p.m. Suspicious Odor Magill Library
A student worker at Magill Library reported an odor of natural gas. Campus Safety could not find the problem. The on-duty Facilities employee checked the air handler and area with the gas detector; no gas leak was reported.
11:47 p.m. Personal Illness Lloyd Hall
An ill student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by ambulance. The Nurse on Call and Graduate Assistant were notified.
Tuesday, December 3rd
8:02 a.m. Safety Hazard 34 Hannum Drive
Resident of HCA 34 reported an alarm sounding in her apartment. A CO2 alarm activated due to a malfunctioning heater. Building was evacuated and ventilated. The faulty heater was replaced.
4:29 p.m. Suspicious Odor 34 Hannum Drive
A report was received of a strange odor coming from inside of 34 Hannum Drive. The residents began to vacate the building not knowing the cause of the odor. The odor was discovered to be “burn off” from the newly installed heater.
Wednesday, December 4th
12:13 p.m. Towed Vehicle Lloyd Lot
Tommy’s Main Line Towing removed an unregistered vehicle from Lloyd Lot. Owner of vehicle (student) contacted the Campus Safety Office and was given the phone number to the tow company.
1:29 p.m. Vandalism Drinker
It was discovered that someone had discharged a fire extinguisher at Drinker. The discharged extinguisher was replaced.
Thursday, December 5th
11:28 a.m. Suspicious Person Tritton Hall
A student reported an unknown male wandering the second floor and going in and out of the bathrooms. He was not recognized as an employee of the college. Officers checked the building; he was not found.
12:23 a.m. Noise Complaint Duck Pond
A report was received of screaming coming from near the Duck Pond. Officers identified two students in the area one of whom admitted to have been screaming. The students were advised to keep their voices down.
