Bicycle Theft 42 Hannum Drive

Student reported the theft of his locked bicycle from the bike shed behind 42 Hannum Dr. Haverford Police took a report.

Saturday, March 9th, 4:00 p.m.

Noise Complaint Swan Field

A report was received of loud music at Swan Field during the Men’s Lacrosse game. The music was turned off prior to arrival of Campus Safety.

Monday, March 11th, 12:09 pm

Check on Well Being Bryn Mawr College

Officers conducted a well- being check on a resident student. The student was located and will contact the concerned party.

9:52 pm, Alarm Fire Alewyd House

Officers responded to Alewyd House on the report of a fire alarm activation. Investigation determined the alarm was caused by burnt food in the kitchen. The area was ventilated and the alarm panel reset.

Medical Transport Bryn Mawr Hospital

A resident student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for a medical appointment.

Wednesday, March 13th, 5:20 pm

Suspicious Circumstance Canaday Library

Officers responded to the Lusty Cup at Canaday Library on the report of an older male asleep in a chair. Investigation determined the gentleman, an authorized visitor, had dozed off while reading.

Friday, March 15th, 9:03 am

Emergency Response Drill Canaday Library

A test of the Emergency Response equipment was conducted. All equipment is operating properly.

10:05 am, Damaged Property Gateway Lot

A member of staff reports damage to his personal vehicle the previous day. It is unknown if the damage occurred while the vehicle was parked on campus the previous day or off campus.

2:45 pm, Veh. Acc.-On Campus Taylor Drive

Officers responded to Taylor Drive on the report of a vehicle accident. Investigation determined that a member of staff, while operating a college owned vehicle, struck a walkway light fixture. No injuries, damage to vehicle and light. Information forwarded to Facilities Services.

A resident student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital Emergency Room for evaluation and treatment.

Sunday, March 17th, 3:33 am

Medical Transport Bryn Mawr College

A resident student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital Emergency Room for evaluation and treatment.

7:02 pm, Missing Person Bryn Mawr College

Officers responded to a Bryn Mawr College residence hall and met with a resident student who reported that her roommate was missing. The student was in her room a short time later.

10:58 pm, Suspicious Odor Merion Hall

Officers responded to Merion Hall on the report of the odor of marijuana. The officers did not detect any odor.
