Friday, January 31st

2:52 p.m.                                Suspicious Odor                                800 Ardmore Ave

A report was received of an odor of marijuana coming from basement of 800 Ardmore Avenue. Building checked; the source could not be located.

Saturday, February 1st

2:02 a.m.                                Personal Illness                                 Gummere Hall

A student called and reported having heart palpations.  Officers, EMT and ambulance responded. The student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by ambulance. The Graduate Assistant and Health Services were notified. Student returned to campus at 0540 hrs.

Sunday, February 2nd

1:33 a.m.                                Alcohol Related Illness                     Lloyd Hall

Officer radioed for assistance with an intoxicated student between Lloyd Hall and Roberts Hall. EMT and additional Officers responded. EMT requested an ambulance. Student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital. Graduate Assistant and Health Services notified.

Tuesday, February 4th

2:59 p.m.                                Suspicious Person                             Dining Center

A Dining Center manager reported a suspicious male, wearing a beige jacket, in the front lobby area of the DC. Officers stopped an individual in the lobby and attempted to identify him. He refused to identify himself; only stating that he lives in the area. Subject left the building and campus.

Wednesday, February 5th

9:06 a.m.                                Suspicious Odor                                22 Hannum Drive

A resident of 22 Hannum Drive reported a burning plastic odor in her apartment.  Officers located a charging cord attached to a coffee pot which was unplugged. The owner was instructed to discard it. 

11:00 p.m.                              Maintenance Issue                            Walton Road

Student in Jones Hall complained of steam and loud noise coming from the vent outside of her room. 

The on call Facilities worker was notified and responded. He called Campus Safety and stated he was able to quiet the noise at this time. He further stated that a more permanent repair of the steam and noise would be needed.

Thursday, February 6th

11:00 a.m.                              Vandalism                                          46 Hannum Drive

A student kicked in another student’s room door at 46 Hannum Drive.  The individual involved took responsibility for his actions.
