Medical Response Physical Science Bldg.

Officers responded to the Physical Science Building on the report of an ill member of staff. The subject declined transport to the hospital.

Tuesday, April 9th, 12:55 pm

Veh. Acc.-On Campus Radnor Parking Lot

Officers responded to the Radnor Parking Lot on the report of a vehicle accident. Investigation determined that an unoccupied vehicle rolled into another unoccupied vehicle. Minor damage to vehicles. Owners of the vehicles exchanged insurance information.

9:16 pm Suspicious Odor Rockefeller Hall

Officers responded to Rockefeller Hall on the report of an odor of marijuana. The area was checked but officers did not detect any odor.

Wednesday, April 10th, 8:07 am

Emergency Response Drill Canaday Library

A test of the Emergency Response equipment was conducted. All equipment is operating properly.

12:37 pm Information Received Haffner Hall

Lower Merion Police responded to Haffner Hall at the request of a staff member regarding an incident that had taken place during the summer of 2012.

 10:21 pm Dangerous Condition New Gulph Road

Information received from Lower Merion Police that a college owned dumpster had rolled onto New Gulph Road, between Roberts Road and Morris Ave. Officers were able to move the dumpster to its proper location.

Thursday, April 11th, 10:15 am

Medical Transport Rhoads Hall

A resident student was transported to the Health Center for evaluation and treatment.

2:34 pm Medical Transport Off Campus

A resident student was transported off campus for an emergency medical appointment.

2:52 pm Theft Pembroke West

A resident student reports the theft of her purse from her unsecured room in Pembroke West.

Friday, April 12th, 2:24 am

Assist Stranded Student Off Campus

A resident student contacted Campus Safety reporting that she was stranded in Philadelphia with no funds to return to campus. The student returned to campus with a friend due to no taxi cabs being readily available.

9:34 am Vehicle Booted Canaday Drive

A vehicle was booted on Canaday Drive when it was found to have numerous unpaid parking citations.

4:28 pm Medical Transport Health Center

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

4:47 pm Medical Transport Health Center

A student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

10:58 pm Alarm False English House

Officers responded to English House on the report of an alarm activation. Investigation determined the alarm was tripped by a member of staff.

Saturday, April 13th, 3:10 am

Disturbance/Disorderly Merion Hall

Officers responded to Merion Hall on the report of a disturbance. Investigation determined a resident student was involved in a verbal altercation with her boyfriend. The student returned to Erdman, her residence hall, and her boyfriend left campus without incident.

11:37 pm Noise Complaint Rhoads Beach

Officers responded to Rhoads Beach on the report of screaming from that location. Investigation determined that a group of students were having a picnic. The students were asked to lower the noise.

Sunday, April 14th, 7:20 am

Harassment Bryn Mawr College

A resident student reports an incident approximately 3 hours earlier of someone banging on her door. Information was forwarded to the Dean’s Office and Residential Life.

1:13 pm Medical Response Playing Field-Lower

County Dispatch contacted Bryn Mawr College Campus Safety that an ambulance was en route regarding an injured field hockey player requiring transport to the hospital. The subject was transported by Narberth Ambulance to Bryn Mawr Hospital Emergency Room.
