Campus Safety Summary, February 22-28

Friday, February 22

9:55 a.m.: Suspicious Person, 23 Hannum Drive

Student observed an individual in the HCA 23 computer lab that did not seem to belong. Area checked, but the individual could not be located.

6:25 p.m.: Suspicious Person, Jones Hall

A student stated that an individual followed him into Jones Hall. He did not recognize the person. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the subject.

Saturday, February 23

2:20 p.m.: Personal Illness, 812 Ardmore Ave

A call was received from a commercial tenant who stated that there was a person screaming to call 911 from the hallway of 812 Ardmore Ave. Haverford College Campus Safety and Haverford Township Police responded. It was determined that a commercial tenant was having a medical emergency. The tenant was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by ambulance.

12:38 a.m.: Alcohol Illness, Founders Hall

A report was received of a student on the floor in the basement of Founders (alcohol related). Student was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital via ambulance. The Nurse on Call and Graduate Assistant were notified.

2:04 a.m.: Noise Complaint, 19 Hannum Drive

An anonymous caller reported loud music coming from 19 Hannum Drive. Students were advised to turn down the music and complied.

Monday, February 25

11:07 p.m.: Suspicious Person, Tritton Hall

Student reported a suspicious male wearing black hoodie and black sweat pants in Tritton Hall first floor. The male was identified and escorted from campus.

Wednesday, February 27

5:21 p.m.: Suspicious Person, Gate House

A report was received of a suspicious person standing in the area of the Gate House. A subject was observed standing on the sidewalk at the SEPTA bus stop and appeared to be waiting for the bus.
