The pandemic has led to sweeping changes for Haverford’s dining options, including the introduction of meal plan options at the Coop and the library cafe. The renovation and expansion of Roberts Hall has continued throughout the pandemic. On August 28, members of the Customs program were informed that several contractors were dismissed from the project for not abiding by COVID-19 safety regulations. A sign in Tritton Hall reminds students of the safety precautions. Similar posters have been placed all over campus – practically every space has some sort of visual cue. A sign on the entrance of the GIAC reinforces mask-wearing, but plans for many facilities, such as the Fitness Center, are yet to be announced. Centennial Conference fall sports will not be taking place this semester, and athletic facilities like Walton Field have been closed to visitors as a precaution to prevent the spread of the virus.
