PHOTO ESSAY: Haverford Hosts 2015 Tri-Co Hackathon

This past weekend, Haverford hosted the second annual Tri-College Hackathon, a non-stop, “48-hour event open to all Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore students.” Increasingly popular on college campuses nationwide, Hackathons typically involve teams of 2-5 students that design an application or software program. A total of 10 teams competed, with roughly 50 participants in total. This year, the TriCo Hackathon involved coding and hacking projects that emphasized “social and environmental impact: projects that aim to make the world — within the Tri-Co or beyond — a better place.”
