Saturday, September 28th

9:38 a.m. Vandalism Skater Shack

A Faculty member reported a broken window in the Skater Shack. It is unknown when the damage occurred. The damage was repaired by Facilities.

5:54 p.m. Animal Complaint Kim Hall

A student reported a small snake inside of Kim Hall on the first floor. The snake was removed by Campus Safety.

6:07 p.m. Parking Complaint Carter Road

Illegally parked vehicles on Carter Road near Walton Road were issued citations after complaints were received from the Blue Bus driver.

Sunday, September 29th

12:06 a.m. Noise Complaint Kim Hall

Lower Merion Police arrived at Kim Hall due to a report of loud music from a party. Campus Safety requested students lower the music volume. The students complied.

12:57 a.m. Noise Complaint Kim Hall

A faculty member reported loud music at Kim Hall. The student hosts decided to terminate the party. The party ended without any problems and the scene was cleared.

Tuesday, October 1st

8:03 a.m. Suspicious Person Lancaster Ave.

A visitor notified an officer that there was a male possibly exposing himself near the front gate. An immediate check of the area was negative.

8:54 a.m. Investigate Object Roberts Hall

A staff member found a spent round of ammunition near Roberts. It does not appear that a firearm was discharged in the area.

8:00 p.m. Suspicious Persons Duck Pond

Student reported two people, possibly arguing, at the Duck Pond. Campus Safety reported no one in the area.

Wednesday, October 2nd

1:03 p.m. Suspicious Activity South Lot

A Faculty member observed an individual who appeared to be looking into vehicles as he walked through the South Lot. The individual could not be located.

1:23 p.m. Fire Union Building

A Facilities staff member extinguished a small fire which accidentally ignited while contractors were making repairs in the rear of Union.

Thursday, October 3rd

12:28 a.m. Animal Complaint Kim Hall

A student reported a snake on the first floor of Kim Hall. The snake was removed by officers. This was the second such incident in a week; a maintenance request was made with Facilities.

12:25 p.m. Theft from Building GIAC

A student reported the theft of a pair of speakers (computer) valued at $150 from the men’s lacrosse locker room. Theft occurred between 9/30/13 and 10/2/13.
