Friday, February 7th

1:54 p.m. Missing Person Duck Pond

A staff member reported that a woman said her 13 year old son was missing from the area of the Duck Pond. After a search of the area proved negative, matter was turned over to Lower Merion Police. The missing boy was eventually located by Radnor Police and found to be in good condition.

8:03 p.m. Fire Alarm 31 Hannum Drive

A detector in an apartment at 31 Hannum Drive went off as a result of smoke within the apartment. The smoke was caused by cooking. Windows were opened by the tenant to ventilate the area. Conditions returned to normal.

 

Saturday, February 8th

2:05 p.m. Personal Injury GIAC

A student from Swarthmore College dislocated his left shoulder while playing in a squash tournament. The student was transported by ambulance to Bryn Mawr Hospital.

11:23 p.m. Medical Emergency Lunt Hall

A report was received of an unconscious student at Lunt Hall. The student was transported by ambulance to University of Pennsylvania Hospital. The Nurse on Call, Lt. Murray, Graduate Assistant, and the Dean were all notified.

 

Sunday, February 9th

12:53 a.m. Harassment-Unfounded Tritton Hall

A report was received of a student who had received a harassing text message. It was determined that the text was a prank by another student.

 

Monday, February 10th

11:12 a.m. Suspicious Person Barclay Hall

A student reported that an unfamiliar person followed her into Barclay. Campus Safety Officers searched the building but was unable to locate the individual.

6:24 p.m. Personal Injury 23 Hannum Drive

A student had injured a finger while preparing food in her apartment at 23 Hannum Drive. She was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by Campus Safety. The Nurse on Call was notified, a message was left for the Dean on Call. At 21:10 hrs, the dean had reported that the student was discharged from the hospital and he had taken her home.

 

Wednesday, February 12th

11:49 a.m. Towed Vehicle South Lot

A student’s vehicle was towed from the South Lot. The owner had parking privileges revoked in the Fall semester.

5:13 p.m. Safety Hazard 35 Hannum Drive

A Student at 35 Hannum Drive reported having trouble breathing due to smoke building up in the her apartment. It was discovered that the smoke was caused by a burning substance in the oven. Officers ventilated the apartment.
