Security Summary 11/6 – 11/12

Friday, November 6th

9:03 a.m. Vandalism, 19 Hannum Drive

Facilities staff reported that someone ripped the handle and plate off of the main entrance door at HCA 19.

10:59 a.m. Suspicious Person, Off-Campus

A report was received of a male who was attempting to “pick up” female joggers off campus on Old Railroad Avenue. The male was not located.

1:08 p.m. Suspicious Person, Visitor’s Lot

A report was received of a suspicious male in the Visitor’s Lot, sitting on the hood of his car, eating, playing music and staring at people. Officer checked the Visitor’s Lot and the South Lot with negative results.

3:00 p.m. Informational, On-Campus

An emergency notification and siren test were conducted campus-wide. 

 

Saturday, November 7th

1:06 a.m. Noise Complaint, 808 Ardmore Ave

An anonymous caller notified Campus Safety of loud music coming from 808 Ardmore Avenue. Individuals were advised to turn down the music and complied.

1:16 a.m. Noise Complaint, Lloyd Green

An anonymous caller notified Campus Safety of loud music coming from Lloyd Green. Individuals were advised to turn down the music and complied. The anonymous caller later notified Campus Safety that the music was loud again. Officers returned to the area but found no loud music playing.

1:26 a.m. Unauthorized Use, Stokes Hall

Officer saw two individuals on the roof of Stokes Hall. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the individuals.

 

Sunday, November 8th

3:03 p.m. Personal Injury, Roberts Hall

A campus visitor fell on the steps in front of Roberts Hall. The visitor refused treatment.

 

Wednesday, November 11th

12:59 p.m. Personal Illness, Roberts Hall

A student suffered a medical episode in Roberts Hall. He was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital by ambulance. Health Services and the Dean’s Office were notified.

6:41 p.m. Personal Injury, Front Gate

A campus visitor, while exiting campus in his vehicle, struck a pedestrian who was walking near the front gate. The pedestrian refused medical treatment. He was given a ride to his destination by the visitor.
