Haverford Security Summary, 4/19-4/25

Friday, April 19th

11:15 a.m. Vandalism Drinker

Residents of Drinker reported that two individuals threw eggs at the building, striking first floor windows. Incident occurred the previous night. Investigation continuing.

1:53 p.m. Suspicious Person Carter Road

Student reported that an unknown male knocked on her vehicle window while she was parked along Carter Road. The incident made occupants uncomfortable. A search for the male was made with negative results.

12:19 a.m. Disturbance Comfort Hall

A student reported that unknown people were throwing bottles out of a fourth floor window of Comfort Hall. Officers responded, but no suspects were located. There were bottles found on the ground. Bottles were cleared from walkway.

Saturday April 20th

8:11 a.m. Safety Hazard Stokes Hall

A Housekeeping employee was stuck in the elevator at the Whitehead Campus Center. Officers were able to get the person out of the elevator. Facilities was advised.

7:07 p.m. Personal Illness Lunt Hall

A student was transported from Lunt Hall to Bryn Mawr Hospital by Llanerch Ambulance after suffering a medical emergency. The Nurse on Call and Graduate Assistant were notified.

Monday, April 22nd

3:44 p.m. Suspicious Person Nature Trail

A visitor reported a suspicious male along the Nature Trail. He appeared to be hiding behind a tree, holding a bag and smoking a cigarette. He did not speak to the reporting person, nor was he observed doing anything inappropriate. Officers checked the area, but did not find the individual.

Wednesday, April 24th

6:13 p.m. Vehicle Accident Lancaster Ave.

Campus Safety responded to a vehicle accident on Lancaster Ave. near College Lane involving five students. No injuries were reported. Lieutenant and Dean on Call were notified.

Thursday, April 25th

8:04 a.m. Suspicious Person Gummere Hall

A staff member observed an individual walking around Gummere who may have been looking to gain entry. The individual was located near Swan Field. He was identified and instructed to leave campus.

12:49 a.m. Noise Complaint Lunt Hall

A report was received of loud noise coming from the outside area of Lunt Hall. Officers located students talking loudly. Students disbanded and left the area.
